The Strike API provides individuals and businesses with programmatic access to their accounts. You can use it to automate a task, wire it into your own tools, or direct an AI agent to act on your behalf:
- Send payments over Lightning or on-chain by creating and executing payment quotes.
- Receive payments with invoices and receive requests, over Lightning or on-chain, settled as cash or bitcoin.
- Buy and sell bitcoin through currency exchange quotes.
- Handle deposits and bank payouts to move funds in and out.
- Read data like your profile, balances, and currency exchange rates.
- Subscribe to webhooks to get notified of events and read their history.
Generate API keys in the web app with the scopes you define. API calls transact against your real account balances, and a sandbox is available for testing without real funds.
