You can retrieve collateral without closing your loan. You can also refinance a loan into a new one instead of closing and reopening. If you prefer to close, you can do so anytime with no closure fees as long as:

  • Your loan has been open for more than 60 days

To close, open the “Cash” tab in the mobile app or the home page of the web app, then go to the “Borrow” section:

  1. Open the loan you want to close
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap “Close”
  3. Repay your outstanding principal and pay outstanding accrued interest.

After closure, your collateral is returned to your bitcoin balance within 3 business days. A summary document becomes available at “Account” under “Documents”. You can still access the loan center to review history.
