Form 1099-B is a tax form that provides information about property transactions handled by brokers and other parties. This includes bitcoin transactions.

Strike users who have sold bitcoin via the Strike app during the applicable tax year will be mailed a 1099-B form to the mailing address that was provided during account registration. You can expect to receive your 1099-B form in mid-February for the preceding tax year.

If you closed your account before your form was available, one was still mailed to you.
